Nocatee was the state’s big winner as the new community took home seven Excel Awards in the annual Florida Home Builders Association competition. The awards were presented at the Southeast Builders Conference convention in Orlando.
Developed by The Parc Group, Nocatee’s awards were for Best Master-Planned Community of the Year, Best Brochure for a Development, Best Direct Mail Piece, Best Color Ad, Best Television Commercial, Best Special Promotion for a Builder and Best Green Community.
In addition, Barbara Ondo Designs won two Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Home in the development.
North Florida dominated the competition and other award winners were:
• Sales Manager of the Year: Amber King, D.R. Horton.
• Best Sales & Marketing Council: the Northeast Florida Builders Association SMC was a co-winner with Tampa.
• Best Interior Merchandising for Office Space: Sisler Johnston Interior Design for the Riverwood Welcome Center at Ponte Vedra.
• Best Design Center: Sisler Johnston Interior Design for the Mattamy Homes design center.
