Andy Chambers of Engle Homes, Judy Hicks of Re/Max Coastal and The Parc Group took home major awards as the Laurels were handed out earlier this month.
Chambers won the Dick Baker Memorial Award for contributions to the industry, Hicks was named Realtor of the Year and The Parc Group, developers of Nocatee, got the Grand Award and the Developer of the Year.
The Laurel Awards are given by the Sales and Marketing Council, a division of the Northeast Florida Builders Association. This year’s banquet was at the Hyatt in downtown Jacksonville.
Other major awards went to CornerStone Homes, Golden Service; Mark Schirmer, Providence Homes, Sales Manager of the Year; Diana Diallo, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Outside Lender of the Year and Top Producer of the Year among outside lenders; Melissa Matos, Taylor Morrison Homes, Site Agent of the Year; and Karen Juarez, Ryland Homes, Builder Lender of the Year.
Also, Franchesca Swierz, Homes and Land Magazine, Associate Member of the Year; Josh Korner, Collins Builders, Rookie Sales Person of the Year; and Rocky Morris, Engle Homes, Marketing Director of the Year.
Renaissance Creative took the most awards, getting nine in various categories including logos, web sites and videos.
In all, 53 awards were given.
