How did you get involved?

Simple — recognized both needs and interests and just got involved.

How can someone else get involved?

Same process — match community or professional needs with your interests and go for it.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?

I have learned that every endeavor always has a need for more help and ideas, and that, pardon the cliche, one’s highest achievement is helping another.

What was the last book you read or are reading?

Re-reading “Slaughterhouse Five” because my son is reading it in school.
