The Jacksonville Landing has scheduled a full month of events for July including Saturday’s July 4 festivities, three rounds of Battle of the Bands and Yappy Hour. The following is a complete listing of July’s events and bands:
Today
• First Coast Tea Party Freedom Rally at 5:30 p.m. This rally is open to the public and urges First Coast residents to take a stand for our liberties, our Constitution, and the principles of our Founding Fathers. The public is encouraged to RSVP and learn more about the cause at www.firstcoastteaparty.org This purpose of this event does not necessarily reflect the opinions and/or beliefs of The Jacksonville Landing, its employees, businesses or parent company.
• Live entertainment in the Courtyard with the George Aspinal Band from 7:30-11:30 p.m.
Friday
• Live entertainment in the Courtyard with Palmetto Catz from 5-9 p.m. and Blistur from 9:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m.
Saturday
• All-American 4th at The Landing — Live entertainment in the Courtyard with Bay Street Band from 11 a.m.–3 p.m., 5 x 7 Band 3:30–7:30 p.m., the Navy Band Southeast Wind Ensemble 8–9:30 p.m. and Freeze Frame 10:15 p.m.–2 a.m.
• City of Jacksonville’s Fireworks on Downtown riverfront at 9:45 p.m.
Sunday
• Live entertainment in the Courtyard with the Gypsy Highway, 3-7 p.m.
July 10
• Special performance by the International Bible Way Youth Choir Concert featuring 100 Youth Voices, 11 a.m.
• Live entertainment in the Courtyard with the Ace Winn Band, 8 p.m.–1 a.m.
July 11
• WAPE 95.1 presents Battle of the Bands at 6 p.m. Round 1 kicks off tonight with performances by 12 musical acts. The contest will take place for the next three Saturdays and will conclude Aug. 1. Stay tuned for more information and how to enter your group into the contest.
July 12
• Live entertainment in the Courtyard with Gypsy Highway, 3-7 p.m.
July 17
• Live entertainment in the Courtyard, 5 p.m.-2 a.m. featuring Little Green Men, 8 p.m.-1 a.m.
July 18
• Live entertainment in the Courtyard with Artisan, 1:30-5:30 p.m.
• Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament kickoff celebration, 3 p.m.
• WAPE 95.1 presents Battle of the Bands at 6 p.m. Round 2 takes place tonight with performances by another 12 musical acts. The contest will take place for the next two Saturdays and will conclude Aug. 1. Stay tuned for more information and how to enter your group into the contest.
July 19
• Yappy Hour at The Landing from 4-7 p.m. B.Y.O.D. (bring your own dog) and enjoy Christmas in July (Santa will be there) with the George Aspinal band, prizes, pet expo, drink specials and more. Yappy Hour is a free event for dog owners and their dogs. It takes place each month on the third Sunday.
July 24
• Live entertainment in the Courtyard from 5 p.m.-2 a.m. featuring Lisa and the Mad Hatters, 8 p.m.-1 a.m.
July 25
• WAPE 95.1 presents Battle of the Bands at 6 p.m. Round 3 takes place tonight with performances by another 12 musical acts. The contest will conclude Aug. 1. Stay tuned for more information and how to enter your group into the contest.
July 26
• Live entertainment in the Courtyard with Gypsy Highway, 3-7 p.m.
July 31
