You may have noticed a bright blue Vespa scooter cruising around Downtown or parked behind the County Courthouse. What you may not have noticed is the rider is none other than Juvenile Court Judge Jefferson Morrow. He uses the two-wheeler most days to commute from his home in Avondale. It’s a lot of fun, Morrow said, and the once-a-month visit to the gas station only costs about $3, much less than when he drives his SUV. “It’s about five cents a day to get to work and back,” Morrow added. “It’s not loud and it’s not fast but it gets me where I need to go.”
