Local healthcare consumers have again selected Baptist Health as the area’s “Most Preferred Healthcare Provider” — and by the highest percentage ever.
This is the 20th year that local consumers have selected Baptist Health as the “Most Preferred Health Care Provider” and Baptist Medical Center Downtown as the Consumer Choice Award winner for the greater Jacksonville area.
Baptist Health was the preferred choice of 40.1 percent of those surveyed on quality and satisfaction measures during the National Research Corporation’s 2009-10 Healthcare Market Guide study, which is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive study of its kind.
“Our community’s continued confidence in Baptist Health affirms the dedication of our physicians, nurses and staff to providing patients and families with the best possible experience,” said Hugh Greene, president and chief executive officer, Baptist Health. “We recognize that consumers have a choice when it comes to selecting their health care facilities and services, and we are honored to have their trust.”
