In what has become an annual event, Omni General Manager Paul Eckert (left) traded his suit and tie for a T-shirt and swimsuit and climbed into a dunking tank to raise money for a local charity. People lined up for three hours yesterday and paid $1 for a chance to hit the target and make a splash. Eckert was joined by several Omni department managers who also took turns taking the plunge, as did Visit Jacksonville President and CEO John Reyes. This year’s donation recipient is the American Heart Association’s “Start! Heart Walk.” The walk festivities begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at Metropolitan Park and the public is invited to participate.
