• The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens continues the fall and winter Cummer Concert Series with a performance by the Enso String Quartet. This is the third of the four concerts featured in the concert series, which runs until February. With a 2009 Grammy nomination for “Best Chamber Music Performance,” the Enso String Quartet will perform at 3 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Cummer along Riverside Avenue. It’s preceded by a 1 p.m. brunch. • The Westminster Choir will join the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus for a performance at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at the Times-Union Center. General tickets are $25 and VIP tickets are $40. For information, call 353-1636. Proceeds benefit the chorus’ programming and scholarship funds.
• The 25th annual Douglas Anderson School of the Arts Extravaganza is scheduled Feb. 12 at the Moran Theatre in the Times-Union Center Downtown. The one-night show starts with an art exhibition at 6:30 p.m. and the performance at 7:30 p.m. More than 450 students will participate in the production. • Sunday is “Legal Day” at the Arena for the Jacksonville Giants basketball game at 5 p.m. Anyone showing a Jacksonville Bar Association card or a Florida Bar card will be admitted free of charge along with one guest.
