Part of the re-branding of the AT&T Tower involved preparing the building for a larger, more diversified group of tenants.
That involved renovating entire floors and subdividing spaces to accommodate the needs of companies smaller than the building’s former tenants.
Another part of the transformation is making the tower more accessible to the public, since many people who didn’t work there have never explored the building.
In the second-floor lobby, “Concurrency,” a juried art exhibit representing some of the area’s most noted painters, sculptors, photographers and mixed media artists, is now on display.
The exhibit has been a hit with tenants and visitors to the building and will be open for the Dec. 1 and Jan. 5 First Wednesday Art Walks.
“It has been so lovely to see people stop and look at the art. You can just feel the culture in the air,” said Pamela Smith, owner representative for Elad National Properties.
“Concurrency” is open to the public 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday. All of the art is for sale.
