• Correction: The Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a rally opposing Amendment 4 at the Landing from 4-6 p.m. Thursday. An incorrect date was published last week. • Among the latest additions to the congregation list, which City Council uses to choose who will give the opening prayer at its regular meetings, is the Temple of the Mystical Ancient Circle Inc. The Rev. Judith Charland, a Pagan High Priestess, has been added to the list of more than 1,000 religious leaders. In order to lead the opening prayer, someone from the list must be chosen by a City Council member or the council may select the clerk of the City Council to choose someone. Council rules for the opening prayer state: “Any invitation extended shall specify that the opportunity to offer a legislative invocation must not be exploited to convert others to any particular faith, to advance any particular faith, or to disparage any other faith or belief.”
