Mission
To enrich the lives of adults with developmental and acquired disabilities.

Serving Jacksonville
Since 1952, based in Jacksonville.

Those served
Primarily Duval County and also Clay, Nassau and St. Johns counties. We serve 375 people. Our services include work-center employment and life-skills training, community employment and group home living.

Biggest challenge
Reduced funding for services through the Florida Legislature in recent years for some of our community’s most vulnerable citizens and the effects of the recession on private fundraising as well.

Biggest satisfaction
Witnessing the dedication and commitment of our staff to work together and to improve the lives of people we serve for very small financial reward.
