• The Marks Gray firm added four trial attorneys in the areas of medical malpractice, workers’ compensation and general liability defense and also announced that Michael D. McCoy has become a shareholder. The new attorneys are Robert C. Gobelman, Mary Bland Love, Michael D. Kendall and Ronald S. Wasilenko. Marks Gray now has 24 attorneys. McCoy has been an associate with Marks Gray since 2004.

• The Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association will co-sponsor a luncheon with Florida Coastal School of Law members Feb. 24 at the law school. U.S. District Judge Timothy Corrigan will preside over a civil hearing that starts at 10 a.m. Corrigan and the attorneys in the case will participate in a discussion after the hearing. • The University of Florida Levin College of Law’s 10th annual Richard E. Nelson Symposium is scheduled 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Feb. 11. It will feature state and national speakers about issues and legal developments affecting Florida’s coast. “Going Coastal: 21st Century Challenges to Our Fragile Coast” will be at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center.
