I love selling new homes for a number of reasons but the number one reason is a lot of buyers like and want new.
One of the first questions I’ll be asked by a buyer when looking at resale homes is the age of the systems and roof.
I also know that the pricing of new homes is competitive, though a new home will most likely be a little more expensive the fact that there is a 1-2 year builder warranty, warranties on appliances and systems and most likely a 10-year structural warranty it gives the buyers peace of mind. Another reason is Jacksonville’s Site Agents and Builders really want to make the buying experience great for buyers. It’s rare to have an issue with a builder. It’s the first time in several years that a new home is competitive with resales in that a buyer can be in a home in 3-4 months!
