• Allison DeFoor and Colleen Castille joined The Fiorentino Group, a Jacksonville-based government relations and business development firm that also has offices in Tallahassee and Tampa. Castille served as both secretary of Environmental Protection and secretary of the Department of Community Affairs under former Gov. Jeb Bush. DeFoor served as sheriff and Circuit Court judge in Monroe County, and “Everglades Czar” in the Bush administration. Both will be based in Tallahassee.
• The Mullaney for Mayor Campaign issued an e-mail Monday morning that its contact person has changed and is now Susie Wiles, the area government communications veteran who managed the successful campaign for Florida Gov. Rick Scott. Former contact person Kathryn Adams is the campaign’s operations manager.
• Changes at the top at The St. Joe Co., including the resignation of its president and the addition of former Gov. Charlie Crist to its board. The company said it reached an understanding with its largest shareholder, The Fairholme Fund, on certain corporate governance matters. Britt Greene resigned from the board and will leave his roles as president and CEO this week. Michael Ainslie, John Lord and Walter Revell are leaving the board, too. The board will consist of Crist, Chair Hugh Durden, Bruce Berkowitz, Charles Fernandez, Howard Frank, Thomas Fanning and Delores Kesler and another to be chosen.
