More than 100 people gathered Thursday evening at the Hyatt Downtown as the Anti-Defamation League honored retired Duval County Judge Morton Kesler, entrepreneur and CEO Delores Kesler and Jacksonville Sheriff John Rutherford. The league presented its Jacksonville 2011 Distinguished Community Service Award to the Keslers and its Distinguished Public Service Award to Rutherford. “We can only do as much as the community allows us to do,” said Andrew Rosenkranz, Florida regional director of the league, which is based in New York and operates its regional office in Boca Raton. “We have been welcomed with open arms” in Northeast Florida, he said.
