It’s election day and plenty of people spent part of their early morning taking part in choosing the City’s next mayor and other leaders. Kathy and Andy Bragg voted at the Balis Community Center precinct in San Marco just after 8 a.m. By the time they voted, more than 40 others had already cast ballots during the first hour after polls opened at 7 a.m. Polls close at 7 p.m. For races containing more than two candidates, if no one receives more than 50 percent of the vote, the two candidates with the most votes will face each other in the May 17 general election. Check tomorrow’s Daily Record for election results.
