• The Salvation Army’s Northeast Florida advisory board added four members: Henry “Hank” Bonar II, CEO, Bonar Engineering and Construction Co.; County Judge Tyrie Boyer Jr.; Jill Storey, vice president, RLS Group; and Florida Rep. Michael Weinstein.

• Public Defender Matt Shirk will be keynote speaker Friday to The Civic Round Table of Jacksonville. The meeting is noon at the Crowne Plaza on the Southbank. For information or reservations, email [email protected] by Tuesday.

• The CoreLogic research firm reports that the rate of foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans in Jacksonville is 8.53 percent for February, an increase of 1.95 percentage points from February 2010. Foreclosure activity in Jacksonville is higher than the national foreclosure rate, which was 3.61 percent for February, a 4.92 percentage point difference. Also in Jacksonville, the mortgage delinquency rate increased in February: 13.70 percent of mortgage loans were 90 days or more delinquent, compared to 13.28 percent for the same period last year, an increase of 0.42 percentage points.

• Saalfield, Shad, Jay, Stokes and Inclan announced that Travase Erickson has become a partner and that Richard Stoudemire has returned to the firm as a shareholder. The firm will be known as Saalfield, Shad, Jay, Stokes, Inclan and Stoudemire P.A.
