Name: Bradley Blair

Age: 30

Family: Wife, Alyssa, and daughter, Millie (1).

Pets: None, but my daughter loves puppies, so I’m not sure how long that will last.

Education: Auburn University, B.A. (Finance); Florida Coastal School of Law, J.D.

Admitted to the Bar: 2007.

Employed by: Bank of America/Merrill Lynch

Field of practice: Banking & securities litigation/arbitration

Professional organizations: The Jacksonville Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section Board of Governors; FCSL Alumni Association Board of Governors; Chester Bedell American Inn of Court.

Community involvement: Gator Bowl Committee.

How did you get involved?
Shortly after joining The JBA in 2007, I volunteered to serve on various JBA YLS project committees. In 2009, I was elected to The JBA YLS Board of Governors. This past year, I became a member of the Gator Bowl Committee. Both of these organizations have provided me with ample opportunities to give back and make a positive impact in our community.

How can someone else get involved?
Ask Lindsay Tygart. No, I’m just kidding. If you have extra time and really want to give back to the Jacksonville community, I would suggest becoming an active member of a local organization.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?
I have learned that volunteering one’s time is just as important as making a monetary donation. For me, it’s also more rewarding.

What was the last book you read or are reading?
“Liar’s Poker,” by Michael Lewis
