• The Florida Bar appointed Arnold D. Tritt Jr., managing partner of Tritt Henderson, to serve a two-year term as the chair of its Construction Law Committee. He previously served as the vice chair. The committee consists of more than 440 construction law attorneys throughout the state and country.

• The first group of Wells Fargo employees will move to the recently named Wells Fargo Center in early November and the remainder will follow by the end of December as the office space is built out. About 375 Wells Fargo employees will leave the former Wachovia space Downtown for the center, the former Modis Building. The former SunTrust branch in the building is being renovated for a Wells Fargo and it will include direct access from Laura Street.

• There are now five candidates who have filed for Duval County Judge Harold Arnold’s Group 12 seat. Rhonda Peoples-Waters joins Ruth Hepler, Michelle Kalil, Donald Mairs and Jonathan Sacks. Three candidates have filed for Circuit Judge Charles Arnold’s Group 29 seat: A. Wellington Barlow, Mark Borello and Melina Buncome. Both judges are retiring at the end of their terms.

• Janice Bryant was appointed a regional manager of Jacksonville-based Finlay Management, a national full-service property management company. Bryant will concentrate on working with on-site managers and staff at the Finlay Management properties in North Florida.
