Purpose: To bring NEFBA builders, remodelers and other companies who have an interest in the construction industry, specifically in Clay County together so the group can discuss, form opinions, petition local government and take actions on issues facing the construction industry in Clay County.

Membership: Builders and trade associates in the building industry.
Who can join: Membership to the Clay Builders Council is part of the membership to NEFBA,
Time/place: First Monday of the month at 11:30 a.m. at the Golf Club at Fleming Island.
How many attend: 20-25.
Cost to attend: The majority of the meetings are sponsored; if not, lunch is $7.
Meeting agenda: “We start off with a guest speaker and then discuss government affairs issues and follow up with upcoming events.”
Other events: Quarterly social, the Clay Builders Council Charity Golf Tournament and a Christmas party. Proceeds from the golf event are used to buy food baskets for less fortunate families during the holiday season.
Leadership: Paul Witt of Wittco Builders is the chair of the NEFBA Clay Builders Council.
Hagan’s role: He sends out notices of upcoming events and organizes the meetings and events.
