Maintaining an annual tradition that began in 1995 before the Jacksonville Jaguars’ inaugural season, the Downtown Council of JAX Chamber is scheduled to gather with friends at 8 a.m. Saturday to paint the 263 bright yellow paw prints along Bay Street that begin near the Main Street Bridge and lead the way to EverBank Field.

Coffee, juice and doughnuts will be served in the chamber’s parking lot and then the painting will begin.

After the last print is stenciled on the sidewalk at the stadium, the group of volunteers will meet at Mark’s Club and Lounge for a celebration. The public is invited to participate.
