• James Taylor Vinson Clothiers, a Jacksonville-based custom clothier, hired Katie Hirschman as a sales coordinator. Her duties include business development and merchandising for JT Vinson. A Jacksonville native, Hirschman graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville with an associate of arts degree in fashion merchandising.

• Jacksonville-based Advanced Disposal is considering up to four locations for its headquarters — Jacksonville, Atlanta, Charlotte and Milwaukee, according to Chief Marketing Officer Mary O’Brien. “Due to negotiations and confidentiality requirements with various entities, we are not in a position to further discuss the status or next steps in regards to choosing a national headquarters location,” she said in a statement. The company will be the largest privately owned environmental services business in the United States as a result of a recently announced deal that is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close this fall.

• Plans for the 130-unit Deerwood Lake Lofts have been under review by the City. The 86 one-bedroom and 44 two-bedroom units are designed with a clubhouse, pool and courtyard area on 5.8 acres at 4360 Deerwood Lake Parkway. Plans were prepared for Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust Inc. of Oak Brook, Ill.

• In more apartment news, construction was approved for the 330-unit Palmetto at Oakleaf Plantation. The FaverGray Co. is the contractor for the 14 apartment buildings, 10 garages and amenities, totaling a construction cost of almost $16.4 million.
