An email from a colleague requesting volunteers to participate in the annual Nonprofit Organization Pro Bono Legal Services Clinic organized by the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and Florida Coastal School of Law.

How can someone else become involved?

Contact the one and only Kathy Para at [email protected]. Legal Aid can provide you with access to worthy folks in need of pro bono services, whether your schedule only permits a one-hour consultation or you're willing to take on a more time-intensive matter.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?

This experience gave me the opportunity to jump back into pro bono legal work and was a reminder that I truly enjoy it and can make time to help out. The clients are always appreciative of my time and counsel.

What was the last book you read or are reading?

Just finished "Atlas Shrugged" again and just picked up "The Brothers Karamazov," which was recommended by a friend.
