How did you get involved?
In the Parable of the Good Samaritan, Luke 10:25-37, Jesus teaches us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and that our “neighbor” is a person who has a need that you can meet. Dreams Come True gives selflessly to those who have very little left — to children with terminal illnesses. I feel that God called me to meet the needs of my neighbors through Dreams Come True.

How can someone else get involved?
Call Jimmy Kelly, executive director of Dreams Come True, at 296-3030, or call me.

What have you learned/achieved through the experience?
It is truly better to give than to receive. It so enriches your life to love others first.

What was the last book you read or are reading?
“Because I Survived,” by Ludwig Muhlfelder, a Holocaust survivor.
