• Last year’s Florida Regional Botball Tournament at the University of North Florida is shown here with Robert E. Lee High School students. This year’s event starts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at UNF and is free and open to the public. Participating local teams include Bishop Kenny, Douglas Anderson, Fletcher and Nease high schools along with Landrum Middle School. Two teams this year are from Zimbabwe. The competition challenges students to design and build autonomous robots whose performance and survival capabilities are demonstrated in a Botball game.
