How did you get involved?
I care passionately about both organizations’ missions, got tired of sitting on the sidelines, and asked how I could help.
How can someone else get involved?
If you have a passion to serve, opportunities will find you so long as you’re willing to step out and make it happen.
What have you learned/achieved through the experience?
The importance of the question, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” I love practicing law and strive to do it with excellence, but our profession is not what defines me.
What was the last book you read or are reading?
“It Was a Long Time Ago, and It Never Happened Anyway: Russia and the Communist Past”, by David Satter, and “Strength to Love,” by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
