• Roger Postlethwaite was named president of GreenPointe Homes, the homebuilding division of GreenPointe Holdings LLC, a diversified holding company that acquires and develops communities throughout the Southeastern U.S. He also serves as chairman of GreenPointe Communities, the company’s land acquisition division, and as senior vice president of GreenPointe Holdings.
• It’s Teach For America Week and 20 Jacksonville leaders will serve as guest teachers in Duval County public schools. They include Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals, school board Chair Betty Burney and board member Becki Couch and Mayor Alvin Brown’s Education Commissioner Donnie Horner.
• Florida State College at Jacksonville said 16 area employers will meet at the college’s North Campus for a job fair Thursday. The “Spring Career Fair” is scheduled from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the college’s North Campus Career Development Center at 4501 Capper Road. • Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice concludes this season’s Florida Forum series at 7:30 p.m. April 4 at the Times-Union Center. Rice served from 2001-05. She is a professor and author.
