• The next “Dine with Us Downtown” will be 5-10 p.m. Thursday at Fionn MacCool’s Irish Restaurant & Pub at the Landing. It’s the seventh month for the event, launched and led by Jacksonville Jaguars CFO Bill Prescott and his wife, Kim. The goal is 100 diners for each event. People are asked to make reservations and support Downtown.

• Exercise Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield is planned Monday-Saturday at Naval Air Station Jacksonville and other bases throughout the country. It’s an annual exercise and not a response to any specifi c threat. It is designed to enhance the training and readiness of Navy security forces. The base said there could be traffi c congestion around NAS Jacksonville and delays in base access.

• Latitude Global Inc. announced a $25 million strategic fi nancial partnership with Entertainment Properties Trust, based in Kansas City, Mo., to fund development expansion as well as a parking garage at its Latitude 30 operation in Jacksonville. Expansion is planned into Indianapolis (Latitude 39), Pittsburgh (Latitude 40) and Chicago (Latitude 42). The Chicago location will take space within a Regal Cinemas complex.

• John Fricks, founder of Atlanta’s Fricks/Firestone Advertising and principal with the FrixGroup Inc., has been named president of Jacksonville-based Scott-McRae Advertising, which is headquartered at 701 Riverside Park Place in Riverside.
