The staff at Downtown Vision Inc. plans to have lunch Friday in Hemming Plaza and have invited the public to join it.
Scheduled 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., "Picnic in the Plaza" is an opportunity to enjoy Downtown's central park, said Katherine Hardwick, DVI director of marketing.
Picnic baskets, picnic blankets, brown-bag lunches and takeout from any of the myriad eateries Downtown are welcome in the plaza, she said.
