Seven Seasons plans Main Street location
Renovations are under review for Seven Seasons Crab House at 5326 N. Main St. Plans show a new kitchen and deli kitchen, freezer, cooler, retail sales area, display cases, deli cases and counters for the carryout-only operation. The permit application shows a 2,604-square-foot location at a conversion cost of $17,600. The architect is JAA Architecture. Seven Seasons has been operating at 136 E. Union St.
KFC renovations OK'd
The City approved renovations for two KFC/Taco Bell restaurants, at 8761 Baymeadows Road and 4495 Roosevelt Blvd., at $100,000 each. The contractor is Ameritech Services Inc.
Hungry Howie's in Southside
Build-out was approved for Hungry Howie's at 3837 Southside Blvd., No. 7. Leister Construction is handling the $51,496 tenant build-out.
Burger King renovations
Burger King Corp. will renovate its 10142 Philips Highway location, according to building permits for Southport Construction to renovate the restaurant, replace aged dining-room fixtures and upgrade the exterior for Burger King corporate standards. The two permits total $236,000.
The Brink Restaurant sign approved
The City approved a sign for The Brink Restaurant at the MW Marble Waters Hotel & Suites being developed by Titus Harvest Dome Spectrum Church. The hotel is under development at 45 Kernan Blvd. N. The sign contractor is River City Sign Co., which is putting up a wall sign at a project cost of $1,000.
Seasons of Japan build-out OK'd
The City approved tenant build-out for the Seasons of Japan restaurant at 4413 Town Center Parkway, units 201-203. The permit shows D.A. Davison Contracting Inc. will handle renovations of the 2,663-square-foot space at a project cost of $295,800. Seasons of Japan partner Loc Lin said in early November the Savannah-based chain should open the restaurant in February near Publix in St. Johns Town Center. Lin said he is negotiating a second location in Mandarin.
Dickey's Barbecue opening Thursday
Dallas-based Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants Inc. announced the first Jacksonville location will open at 11 a.m. Thursday and the first 100 customers will receive a free "Pulled Pork Big Barbecue" sandwich. The Dickey's Barbecue Pit will open at 9825 San Jose Blvd.
