Those without plans for New Year's Eve can look Downtown for plenty of options to ring in 2014.

Here's a rundown of what's happening Tuesday:

• The "New Year's Eve Fireworks Spectacular" is scheduled from 11:59 p.m.- 12:30 a.m. to coincide with the stroke of midnight and start of 2014. Barges holding the fireworks will be at several places along the St. Johns River, including in front of the Jacksonville Landing and Friendship Fountain Park. They will be viewable from numerous Downtown locations, including the Southbank, Northbank and parts of Riverside.

• The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra is hosting a "Toast! To the New Year!" show starring Mike Eldred at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts. Stuart Chafetz is conductor with Eldred lending his voice to the show. Tickets range from $75-$150, with prices reflecting seating difference and admission to an afterparty with a view of the fireworks. For information, visit jaxsymphony.org.

• The Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville again will host Pop! 333NY featuring dancing, gambling and food. Hors d'oeuvres, open bar and entertainment are included with admission for the black-tie optional affair that will focus on pop art and 1960s glamour. Tickets range from $100-$500. • The Florida Theatre will have a New Year's Eve music doubleheader featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Gregg Allman and Jacksonville natives JJ Grey & Mofro. Showtime is 9 p.m. For more information, visit floridatheatre.com.

• Several Downtown drinking establishments will be open and celebrating. Dos Gatos (123 E. Forsyth St.), Mark's Downtown and Dive Bar (315, 331 E. Bay St.), Burro Bar (100 E. Adams St.), 1904 Music Hall (19 N. Ocean St.), Underbelly (113 E. Bay St.) and Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk (Jacksonville Landing) are hosting New Year's Eve events.

• For those looking to celebrate a little earlier, the Jacksonville Main Library will host a "Noon Year's Eve Party" from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The countdown to noon will have games and crafts leading up to the clock striking 12.
