Sign approved for first Marco's Pizza
The City OK'd the wall sign for Marco's Pizza at 8415 Cheswick Oak Ave., No. 3, in the Argyle area. Liberty Lighting Inc. is handling the project at a cost of $3,500.
As reported in early December, Marco's Pizza area franchise owner Kirk Luchman, a former basketball player with the Jacksonville Barracudas, said he wants to open 34 stores over the next five-10 years in North Florida and into South Georgia.
Luchman, the operating partner in the area franchise, said the first area Marco's Pizza in Southwest Jacksonville should open the second week of January and he is negotiating a second site. The City approved the Argyle-area Marco's Pizza build-out at a project cost of $55,000. It's a 1,725-square-foot location.
Signs OK'd for Seasons of Japan
Two signs were approved for Seasons of Japan at 4413 Town Center Parkway, No. 201. Liberty Lighting Inc. will handle the project at a cost of $3,200.
As reported, the City previously approved tenant build-out for the Seasons of Japan restaurant at 4413 Town Center Parkway, in units 201-203, near Publix in St. Johns Town Center. The permit shows D.A. Davison Contracting Inc. will handle renovations of the 2,663-square-foot space at a project cost of $295,800.
Seasons of Japan partner Loc Lin said in early November the Savannah-based chain should open the restaurant in February. He said he was negotiating a second location in Mandarin.
