The next installment in the "Project Atrium" series at the Museum of Contemporary Art is being installed this week in the Haskell Atrium Gallery.

Titled "Tarred Over Cracks," the installation by Los Angeles-based artist Ingrid Calame was inspired by repaired cracks in asphalt. Urban spills, stains, graffiti and other marks.

The installation may be viewed during regular museum hours. A formal opening is scheduled Nov. 16, when Calame will present a lecture about her work, process and career.

Project Atrium is funded by a grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
