The 26th annual Southern Women's Show opens today and continues through Sunday at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.
Among the almost 300 displays of cooking, decorating, entertainment and fashion is recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A bright pink Camaro is on the show floor and outside the convention center.
Test drives will be available, with Chevrolet donating $5 to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for each one. Each test driver will get a $5 Starbucks gift card, said Chelsea Ginyard, assistant show manager.
Linda Quinn, owner of Silver Sun Jewelry, has been at the show each year. She lives in Boston, but spends most weekends selling her custom designs at shows along the East Coast.
"This is my favorite show. The women in Jacksonville are so fashionable," said Quinn.
