The next edition of “Dine with Us Downtown” is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at La Cena Ristorante and Wine Bar along Laura Street near Hemming Plaza.
The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres at the wine bar. Seating for dinner will begin at 7 p.m. with assorted antipasti plates and chef and owner Jerry Moran’s signature entrees followed by coffee and pastries.
The cost for the evening is $57.15 per person including food, service and sales tax.
Also at 7 p.m., JAX Chamber President and CEO Daniel Davis is scheduled to make a brief presentation about Downtown, its future development and the chamber’s role.

Street parking is free after 6 p.m. and a parking garage is available along Duval Street near the Museum of Contemporary Art.
“Dine with Us Downtown” debuted in August 2011 when Bill and Kim Prescott decided to create a way to showcase Downtown’s restaurants to their friends and associates who might not be familiar with the neighborhood’s cuisine opportunities.
Thursday marks the first time La Cena has been the destination for the Prescotts and their fellow diners.
