Eschewing warmer confines for a more open, outdoor environment, the JAX Chamber hosted its 129th annual meeting Thursday evening Downtown at its International Plaza at the base of the Main Street Bridge. Past meetings have been held indoors and had a more formal program, but chamber President and CEO Daniel Davis said the changes aligned for better networking opportunities among members. The chamber’s Small Business Leader of the Year, typically named during the annual meeting, will instead be a part of a breakfast Thursday at the Hyatt Downtown.
