"I stay active teaching yoga so I can be in good shape to take my annual trip to my birthplace, Cyprus. It took me about 40 years after I became a refugee to return and have made it an annual pilgrimage ever since. After the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, family and friends were disbursed throughout the world. Some made it to Greece, others as far away as Australia. I get to see the ones who stayed close to Cyprus every year now and for that I am very grateful."

"My wife and I walk through the door of the gym five days a week 5 a.m. We are multitasking by spending time together while working out, encouraging each other and talking about our day. Discover the forms of exercise you enjoy. Set goals and measure your progress. Eat a good breakfast. Drink plenty of water. Know the restaurants near you and treat yourself to a healthy option."

"I’m addicted to my Fitbit which makes me try and reach 10,000 steps a day . . . hard to do with this job. I’m also a morning person, so I start my day with a 5:30 a.m. workout in a group personal training class that features high-intensity strength training coupled with cardio. I attend Pure Barre classes on the weekends, as well as keep up with my 7-year-old son, which is its own workout."
