HabiJax names board members for 2015-16

Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville announced its 2015-16 officers at its June board of directors meeting.

They are: Jane McFarland Upton, chair; Sheila Cribb, vice chair; A. Hamilton Cooke, secretary; and Robert Dilts, treasurer.

The HabiJax board is comprised of a diverse spectrum of local citizens who are tasked with promoting the organization’s mission and vision, advocating for affordable housing and providing exceptional governance.

Lynette Dinneen

Lynette Dinneen has been named the onsite sales associate for elacora in The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach.

Dinneen has more than a decade of experience in Northeast Florida home sales, including previous positions with elacora’s Northeast Florida team.

Gary Fiegler

Gary Fiegler has been promoted to senior manager at Association Services of Florida. A long-time community association manager for ASF, Fiegler will oversee and mentor the company’s portfolio manager team.

Fiegler has more than 10 years of industry experience, including a strong background in accounting. He is a Florida licensed community association manager and has attained his certified manager of community associations designation through the Community Associations Institute.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University. 

Tanya Mauro

Tanya Mauro was named chief financial officer of HabiJax. She will oversee all financial activities of the company.

Prior to joining HabiJax, Mauro was CFO of Financial Foundation Group, a multibillion-dollar financial services firm available in 39 states. She is a graduate of Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and she served in the United States Navy.

Mauro’s experience with philanthropic nonprofits includes participation in Disabled American Veterans North Florida and City Rescue Mission.

Christina Oleksyn and Franco D’Orazio

Christina Oleksyn and Franco D’Orazio have been hired as new agents for Davidson Realty Inc.

Born in Pensacola, Oleksyn earned her bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University and her master’s degree from Missouri Baptist University. She worked in education before relocating from Tampa to Jacksonville and buying a home with her husband.

D’Orazio studied economics and marketing at Colorado State University. He worked in real estate and ran several small businesses in Colorado before moving to Florida.

Bob Selander

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Lifestyles Realty has expanded into commercial real estate with the addition of Bob Selander to its team.

Selander’s background in commercial transactions will provide the expertise needed to serve commercial clients, BHGRE broker Daniel McCarthy said.

Rick Wheat

Local resident Rick Wheat was presented with Davidson Realty’s quarterly referral basket. Wheat was entered into the drawing after referring a buyer to Davidson agent Caitlyn Hawkins. 

The referral program is Davidson’s way of thanking those who refer their friends, family and neighbors to the company, said Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson.

Anyone who refers a buyer, seller, tenant or home to be rented is entered to win.
