Beaver Street Fisheries co-founder and board chairman Harry Frisch was honored by City Council for his lifetime of service to Jacksonville. Frisch, center, was joined by family and friends for the presentation Tuesday. Council member Reggie Gaffney, back row, introduced the resolution and he and several council members spoke glowingly of Frisch’s community contributions. Frisch’s grandson, Mark, left of Frisch, became emotional when talking about the family patriarch. “From the day he arrived in Jacksonville, the city became a much better place,” said Mark Frisch.
