D.R. Horton’s North Florida Division on Feb. 1 unveiled its newest model, the Monterey at Ocean Cay on Anastasia Island in St. Augustine.

The Monterey is a classic two-story plan of approximately 2,900 square feet that offers four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms.

The first floor has an owner’s suite, dining room, powder room and gathering room/kitchen.

The second floor comes with a game room, three bedrooms and a full bathroom.

The floor plan can “flex,” with the second floor reconfigured for two bathrooms and a fifth bedroom with a conversion of the game room.

Close to the ocean and beaches, Ocean Cay features homes with coastal and Key West style architecture and colors.

The exteriors have metal roof accents, a variety of siding treatments and porches and eves with fretwork details. There are seven other home plans offered at Ocean Cay with prices starting in the high $200,000s.

D.R. Horton recently opened another model in St. Johns County at Samara Lakes in the World Golf Village area.

The standard two-story open floor plan is approximately 2,566 square feet with four bedrooms and four full bathrooms including a first floor suite and a two-car garage.

A variety of options to the floor plan allow to-be-built buyers the ability to change the first floor. There is also an optional three-car garage.

Also, D.R. Horton plans to open a new community — Deerfield Preserve — in St. Johns County, with homes starting in the upper $100,000s.

The company’s North Florida Division has communities in Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau and St. Johns counties. Collectively, there are 50 floor plans from which to choose.

A new centrally located design center recently opened on Race Track Road in St. Johns.

Toll Brothers opens model at country club

Toll Brothers celebrated the opening of its new designer-decorated model home, the Catalina, at the Atlantic Beach Country Club in January.

For the community, Toll Brothers is building luxury single-family homes with prices starting in the upper $500,000s and ranging from 2,047 square feet to more than 4,300 square feet on premium home sites.

The builder is offering 12 home designs from three collections. Each design features four unique exterior elevations, giving home buyers dozens of choices.

The designs also offer hundreds of interior and exterior options so that homes may be personalized to suit each buyer’s tastes and lifestyle.
