Democrat Lisa King and Republican Al Ferraro will square off in a May 19 runoff after outdistancing Republican Jack Daniels in Tuesday’s Jacksonville City Council District 2 election.
With all 13 precincts reporting, King received 37.4 percent of the votes (5,332), Ferraro received 35.39 percent (5,046).
Daniels picked up 27.21 percent (3,879).
The winner will replace two-term incumbent Bill Bishop, who is running for mayor.
