Tamaya, the Mediterranean-style master-planned community, unveiled plans for its $11 million Residents Club at a special event.

The 10,000-square-foot building will include a spacious great room with catering kitchen, a clubroom, a covered porch and an outdoor patio.

A nearly 4,500 square foot fitness center will include a large cardio room and a separate yoga and pilates studio overlooking a garden and fountain area.

Ervin Lovett Miller is the architect and Ansana Interior Design of Orlando is the interior designer.

Site work is underway and construction is scheduled to begin in the summer with completion anticipated in 2016.

D.R. Horton introduces Express Homes to Azalea Ridge subdivision

D.R. Horton’s North Florida Division introduced Express Homes into their Middleburg community of Azalea Ridge with a grand opening celebration of two new models.

The Express Homes prices start in the $160,000s for floorplans ranging from 1,500 square feet to more than 2,000 square feet.

Express Homes’ Flora model is a 2,170 square-foot, two-story plan with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage.

The first-floor open layout has an integrated island kitchen and dining area, and a grand room.

The second floor offers privacy between the owner’s suite/bathroom and the other three bedrooms and second bathroom.

D.R. Horton’s Osprey model has an open floor plan of approximately 1,913 square feet with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage.

The split floorplan offers privacy for the owner’s suite and bathroom.

The Flora and Osprey bring the number of plans available at Azalea Ridge to 20, with sizes ranging from 1,540 square feet to 4,099 square feet.

Atlantic Beach Country Club opens two models

Beach Country Club is now showcasing two new model homes by its preferred builders, Toll Brothers and Riverside Homes.

The highly anticipated coastal country club community opened in January.

Fifty-eight build-to-suit sites are being marketed by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty, with Toll Brothers and Riverside Homes contracted to sell the remaining 120 sites.

Toll Brothers’ model, the two-story Catalina, features a cedar shake elevation.

The 4,300 square-foot floor plan has five bedrooms, including a first floor master bedroom and a guest suite with portico.

The company is offering 12 luxury single-family home designs in four different elevations, ranging in size from 2,047 square feet to over 4,300 square feet, with prices starting in the mid $500,000s.

Designs offer interior and exterior options so that homes may be personalized to suit each buyer’s tastes and lifestyle.

Riverside Homes’ model, The Rosemary, is a 3,500 square foot, four-bedroom, four-bathroom home, designed to incorporate the community’s natural surroundings, with open living spaces, vaulted ceilings and walls of windows.

The two-story floor plan features tongue and groove ceilings, a Chef’s Thermador kitchen with big center island, and 14-foot rear and side covered porches. It features smart home technology and many energy efficient features.

KB Home opens Heritage Oaks and Bartram Creek

National homebuilder KB Home opened Heritage Oaks, a new community close to Interstate 95 in northern St. Johns County.

Heritage Oaks will offer 10 floor plans, ranging from 2,044-3,601 square feet, with prices starting in the mid-$200,000s.

Homes will be up to six bedrooms and four baths. Two model homes are open to the public.

The community’s amenities include a pool and park with a trellis under the oak trees.

The homebuilder also opened Bartram Creek, located off Race Track Road.

The community will feature 168 single-family homes ranging from 1,494-4,012 square feet, with prices starting in the low $200,000s.

Homes will be up to six bedrooms and four baths with two- or three-car garages. Four new model homes are now open.

Bartram Creek will feature a community clubhouse, pool and playground on-site, as well as nearby canoeing and kayaking along the Bartram Canoe Trail.

The community has no CDD fees.

World Golf Village’s La Fontana begins construction

Construction has begun on La Fontana at the Residences, a 52-unit condominium community in World Golf Village.

Work on the first building, which has 13 units, began in April. Eleven of those units, which are slated to become available beginning in August, are available for sale through Davidson Realty.

The condos will be three-bedroom, three-bathroom or four-bedroom, four-bath homes, with floor plans beginning at 1,915 square feet. They will include a private single-car detached garage, gourmet kitchens and custom designed master bathrooms.

La Fontana’s developer is Troy White of World Golf Village Residential Ventures I, LLC.

Lennar grand opening in Palencia packs them in

Thousands attended a three-day series of events to celebrate the grand opening of Lennar’s new model home park in Palencia.

The park includes six models in a gated cul-de-sac, a nine-hole miniature golf course, kids playground and event lawn.

The first event, a family fun day, featured model home tours, games, ice cream and balloons.

A VIP Realtor event treated guests to tapas, wine pairings, prize drawings and live music by The Band Be Easy.

The grand finale, held at the mini-golf course, treated families to a visit from Jaxson de Ville, clowns, face painting, balloons, games, bounce houses, food trucks and a miniature golf competition where the winner had a chance to win a new home.

Lennar at Palencia offers homes ranging from the $200,000s to the $600,000s.

The community is anchored by the Palencia Club, featuring a 33,000-square-foot clubhouse and a par 72 Arthur Hills-designed golf course.

Dunkin’ Donuts, more retail coming to Nocatee

Skinner Bros. Realty will build a new retail center across from Nocatee’s existing Town Center shopping area, and it will have doughnuts.

The company in December purchased 6.25 acres on the eastern side of Crosswater Parkway just across from the Town Center.

The first phase of Town Center East will be anchored by an 11,670 square foot multi-tenant retail building.

A Dunkin’ Donuts, complete with drive-thru, will occupy the northern end-cap space. Other tenants will include a Big Fish Yoga studio and a Coastal Wine Market, a full-service fine wine and craft beer retailer. A fourth tenant will be announced at a later date.
