"‘Airplane!’: Ex-fighter pilot/taxi driver meets unrequited love meets virus on a plane. Already we have pure genius. Sprinkle in hundreds and hundreds of ridiculous jokes delivered with poker-faced sincerity and the genius grows. As evidence, a movie with more catch phrases having entered our American vernacular may not exist."

"Like most women of my generation, my favorite comedy is ‘Bridesmaids.’ The movie came out when I was in law school and my friends and I used to quote it all the time. Some of my favorites lines are ‘I’m Mrs. Iglesias’ and ‘Is that your fella?’ Makes me laugh just thinking about it. Everyone who saw the movie knows what I am talking about."

"’Airplane!’ is the greatest comedy of all time, hands down. The blend of off-the-charts silly and spooftastic humor delivered by deadpan, serious actors is both brilliant and timeless. It’s often been imitated, but never duplicated. Just watch out for the fish, and don’t call me Shirley."
