The ever-expanding community of Nocatee has added two Jacksonville-based builders to the newest community, Twenty Mile.
The Pineapple Corp. and Glenn Layton Homes are the latest additions to the St. Johns County master-planned community.
“Nocatee is a cornerstone in Northeast Florida,” said Spencer Calvert, president of The Pineapple Corp.
The Vista at Twenty Mile, a neighborhood exclusive to The Pineapple Corp., will feature 44 custom and semi-custom homes. The estate-style homes start in the high $800,000s and will feature five floor-plans, many with the company’s signature mission-style Mediterranean and Tuscan designs.
The Pineapple Corp. has been a mainstay within the Jacksonville luxury home market, building in communities like Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club and Pablo Creek Reserve.
Tapping into a growing niche within Jacksonville, The Vista at Twenty Mile is its first community in Nocatee.
“Location, location, location. I cannot stress enough how much we think the location is marvelous,” said Calvert. “We believe that there is a large, underserved, demand in the million-dollar price point for good, high-quality, sophisticated designs.”
Jacksonville Beach-based custom homebuilder Glenn Layton Homes brings its Florida coastal-style homes to nine homesites within The Hammock at Twenty Mile.
The neighborhood will open in the fall with homes starting in the mid-$900,000s.
Glenn Layton Homes is the builder behind the 2013 HGTV Smart Home in the Paradise Key South Beach community in Jacksonville Beach.
“Being a part of Nocatee is a huge milestone for us,” said Glenn Layton, president of the company. “We feel that our coastal lifestyle homes are a great addition to the area and we are looking forward to making our mark in Nocatee.”
Located in the northeastern corner of Nocatee off Valley Ridge Boulevard and the Nocatee Parkway, the Twenty Mile communities will have access to the development’s amenities, including the splash park, lap pool and lazy river.
Builders will begin selling over the next few months, with model homes opening this fall.
Twenty-Mile Road stretches from St. Augustine through Nocatee where Publix sits to the west of Crosswater Parkway.
