Two members of the ERA team from Jacksonville were inducted into the company’s Real Estate Hall of Fame.
Sandra McDaniel and Jeff Riber Sr. received the honors at ERA’s recent international business conference in Orlando.
McDaniel has 30 years in the industry, including 18 as an agent and owner of ERA McDaniel & Associates.
During that time, she received ERA’s national award for total performance, sales person of the year and her brokerage was the top-producing ERA office in Jacksonville at the time.
Her last 12 years have been as director of training at ERA Davis & Linn.
Riber, who passed away in August, worked in the ERA system for more than 30 years. He was vice president of strategic consulting for the company.
His wife, Lillian, and sons, Jeff Jr. and Blake, accepted the award on his behalf.
The company hosted a fundraiser run and dance-a-thon in his memory at the conference.
Davidson Realty adds three agents
Davidson Realty hired three sales agents, including former Jacksonville City Council President Elaine Brown.
Brown received her real estate license in 2008, after serving two terms on council.
Other public service contributions include serving as board chair of the Beaches Chamber of Commerce and on boards for several nonprofits, as well as government appoints.
She also spearheaded efforts such as the Save the Ferry Task Force to stop the closure of the St. Johns River ferry.
“Elaine is a fixture in the Northeast Florida community and offers great real estate expertise,” president Sherry Davidson said.
Sara Hamm joined the firm, bringing more than 10 years’ experience as a residential real estate investor before getting her license.
Hamm is a native of Jasper, Ind., where she received a business degree from Indiana Business College. She recently earned a computer programing degree at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Michael Davis brings 25 years of diverse experience to the firm.
Before receiving his real estate license in 2006, he worked as a sales and marketing manager, then was a customer service and marketing consultant.
He specializes in single-family planned communities, mountain properties and vacation homes.
Shearwater hires Flores as director
Jill Flores is the new community director at Shearwater, a master-planned community on County Road 210 in St. Johns County.
She will manage the neighborhood’s programming and homeowners’ association issues.
Previously, Flores was amenities and recreation manager for St. Johns Golf and Country Club, where she was in charge of the community’s facilities, planned events and programs and managed seasonal rentals.
She is co-founder of PAGE Florida, a nonprofit that raises awareness about the value of technology in classroom.
She’s also a volunteer with the St. Johns County School District, including developing math programs and raising funds for the business liaison team.
Flores earned a bachelor’s degree from Siena College in Loundonville, N.Y.
Miniard joins sales team at La Fontana
Larson Miniard is a new sales associate for La Fontana at World Golf Village.
He will work with The Condo Group LLC, which handles sales and marketing for the community.
Miniar is a native of Ponte Vedra Beach and received a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary social studies from Florida State University in 2012.
