Chuy’s opened Tuesday at The Strand at Town Center at 4914 Town Center Parkway.
Another new restaurant to the area, Chuy’s, opened Tuesday at The Strand at Town Center at 4914 Town Center Parkway.
That’s across the street from The Markets at Town Center near Gate Parkway.
The publicly held Austin, Texas-based chain serves Tex-Mex food and operates 86 other restaurants, including in Gainesville and Orlando, in 19 states.
Chuy’s is the first restaurant to open at The Strand at Town Center, with work continuing next door on Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen.
Other restaurants coming to The Strand include Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Brazillian steakhouse Fogo de Chao Churrascaria and Moe’s Southwest Grill. Behind Chuy’s, working is progressing on retail tenants Best Buy, Hobby Lobby, PGA Tour Superstore and 2nd & Charles, which sells used books, DVDs, video games and other media.
