Fields Auto Group of Orlando is moving forward with plans for its Mercedes-Benz service center in St. Augustine in the World Commerce Center along Interstate 95 in St. Johns County.
The county approved a building permit Nov. 6 for the foundation of phase one at a project cost of $150,000. International Contractors Inc. of Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois is the project contractor.
According to plans, the center will focus on Mercedes-Benz service at 405 World Commerce Way.
