The JAX Chamber is accepting applications for a new program for people interested in public policy and government affairs.
Influence JAX is aimed at business professionals involved in advocacy for their companies and influencing government for the betterment of their community and industry, according to an April 9 release from the chamber.
The program will focus on enhancing “communication, crisis management and decision-making skills under pressure.”
Applicants who are selected for the program will be charged a $3,000 program fee, and applicant employers must be a Bronze + level member.
The Bronze level of chamber membership is $5,000 a year.
Facilitators are Daniel Davis, JAX Chamber president and CEO; Misty Skipper of Gate Petroleum, chamber chair-elect; and Adam Hollingsworth of TSG Advisors. They will be accompanied by speakers from across the city as part of the program.
Applications open April 14 and close April 25.
