Avecina will join Another Broken Egg Cafe, announced in August, and Dutch Bros Coffee, confirmed in September. A KFC announced in August has dropped out.

A map of the development shows a nail salon and an unidentified grocery store. Four spaces remain available.

Founded in 2005, Avecina Medical has 15 locations in Northeast Florida, Daytona Beach, Gainesville and Ocala. Five more are planned in Yulee, The Villages, Saint Johns, Winter Park, Palm Coast and Lake Mary, according to Avecina.com.

Avecina treats health issues that do not require hospital admission, including motor vehicle accidents; cold, flu, sinus and respiratory illnesses; burns; workers compensation injuries; and other non-life-threatening conditions. All locations offer X-rays.

Clincs are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

St. John’s at Racetrack LLC owns the shopping center. The company purchased the 7-acre site in 2022 for $8.5 million. The project broke ground in August.
