The city of Jacksonville is reviewing civil engineering plans for the Atlanta-based company to build a 5,094-square-foot restaurant on 2.38 acres. The vacant property crosses the county line.

Chick-fil-A is planned at Northeast Race Track Road and Bartram Park Boulevard north of the Publix-anchored Bartram Market shopping center.

Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. of Sunrise filed the plans April 16 as the civil engineer.

The Chick-fil-A is designed for 106 seats, comprising 90 inside and 16 on a patio.

Its dual drive-thru is designed for 24 cars, accommodating 40 at peak times.

The site plan for the Chick-fil-A planned at Northeast Race Track Road and Bartram Park Boulevard. The homes that border the property are part of the gated Montevilla at Bartram Lakes community.

Jacksonville utility JEA issued a service availability determination letter in September 2023 for construction of a 5,399-square-foot restaurant building with canopies, a parking lot and associated utilities.

The 2.38 acres are part of a master site of 6.98 acres owned by Bartram Corner LLC.

The site is north of the Publix-anchored Bartram Market shopping center and south of the Montevilla at Bartram Lakes community.
